Neon gas manufacturing

We have a special line at AGEM that aids in the neon gas production. This piece of production line contains a lot of significant steps about turning raw materials into top-quality neon gas that can be applied in signs. This is an important part of the process to ensure that the neon gas is both safe and effective when put to use. 

Once we get the neon gas, we have to purify it to ensure that nothing is present that should not be there, as well as the AGEM's diborane b2h6. This cleaning step is critical because any poison that remains in the gas will become problematic once the neon sign is illuminated. We want our gas to be clean for it to burn brightly without any disturbance.

A Look at the Production Line

And gas extraction from air is done with the method of cryogenic distillation, identical to Reactants supplied by AGEM. Strain or refrigerate the air—this snazzy term refers to the process of cooling the air to liquid form. Then filters and special columns are used to separate the various gases. This allows us to only harvest the neon gas that we require. 

Once we have the neon gas, we need to further purify it to remove any other gases that we do not want. This step of cleaning is called fractionation. In this process, we strive to get as much of the neon gas separated from any of the other gases, such as helium, argon, and krypton. This is necessary in order to ensure that our neon gas is of the highest purity possible.
