1. What is the MOQ
A: From one cylinder
2. What is the delivery time
A: 7–10 days EXW (Ex Works) after we receive the deposit. Once we book the air freight, we will be able to provide the exact delivery timeline to the customer's country.
3. How do you check the gas quality
A: First, our team prepares the cylinders (cleaning, drying, vacuuming, pumping, and purging before gas filling to ensure the inside of the cylinder is clean and dry). Second, we test the treated cylinders again to confirm that the interior remains clean and dry. Third, we analyze the gas after filling the cylinders and provide a COA (Certificate of Analysis).
4. Can all cylinders be recycled
A: Generally, the service life of seamless steel cylinders is over 20 years. Disposable cylinders, however, are strictly for single use.
5. Can we send empty cylinders back to China for refilling
A: Yes. Once the gas is used up, you can return the empty cylinders to us for refilling. Please inform us prior to shipment so we can arrange customs clearance for the cylinders in China.
6. Available Cylinder and Valve Standards
A: Cylinder Standards: DOT-3AA, ISO9809, GB5099, TC-3AAM, EN1964, KGS
Valve Standards: DISS, CGA, DIN, BS, AFNOR, JIS
7. Can I ship LCL with my other general cargo
A: Our products are classified as Class 2.2 Dangerous Goods (DG) and must be shipped accordingly. Shipping them as general cargo is illegal, so we must book DG transport with the carrier. If you have general cargo, it can be combined with this shipment, provided the entire load is shipped under DG standards

AGEM Calibration Gas Mixture Solutions for Precision Instrumentation and Industrial Control
AGEM presents a comprehensive line of calibration gas mixtures designed to meet the demanding requirements of analytical instrumentation, environmental monitoring, industrial process control, and laboratory quality assurance. Our Calibration Gas Mixture Gases in 4L, 8L, 10L, and 50L aluminum cylinders deliver reliable, traceable, and ready-to-use gas standards for field calibration, routine maintenance, and performance verification of gas analyzers. AGEM’s specialty calibration gases are engineered with a focus on purity, stability, and safety so that customers can trust their monitoring systems and maintain compliance with regulatory limits.
Product Overview and Typical Configurations
AGEM calibration gas mixtures include NO SO2 CO N2 blends that are used for calibrating multi-component analyzers, continuous emissions monitoring systems (CEMS), portable meters, and ambient air quality monitors. Our aluminum cylinder gases are available in multiple volumes — 4L, 8L, 10L, and 50L — and can be formulated to meet customer-specified concentrations, from parts-per-million (ppm) levels up to percentage ranges. Each cylinder is filled under strict quality controls to ensure the blended gas composition is consistent and stable for the intended shelf-life and application conditions.
Key Features
- Customizable NO SO2 CO N2 blends: AGEM provides flexible concentration options across NO, SO2, CO, and balance N2 to suit instrument ranges and calibration protocols. These calibration gas mixtures are designed to match the span and zero standards required by modern analyzers.
- Aluminum cylinder gases for portability and corrosion resistance: The use of aluminum cylinders ensures lighter weight for portable applications and excellent resistance to corrosion and contamination, improving longevity and safety during transport and field deployment.
- Traceability and certification: All specialty calibration gases are supplied with certificates of analysis that document composition, uncertainty, and traceability to primary standards. Our calibration gas mixtures undergo validated blending and verification processes to support regulatory compliance and QA/QC documentation.
- Low-ppm to high-concentration options: Whether users require low-ppm calibration points for ambient monitoring or higher concentrations for industrial sensor linearity checks, AGEM can deliver the appropriate NO SO2 CO N2 blends in the selected aluminum cylinder gases.
- Safety and compatibility: AGEM ensures that calibration gas mixtures are blended and packaged to minimize reactivity and maintain compatibility with analyzer materials and delivery systems. Our cylinder valves, regulators, and fittings are selected to reduce contamination risk and ensure safe handling.
Applications
- Air quality monitoring and regulatory compliance: NO SO2 CO N2 blends from AGEM are ideal for calibrating ambient air quality stations and portable analyzers to verify compliance with local and international emission standards.
- Continuous emissions monitoring systems (CEMS): Specialty calibration gases are essential for the routine calibration and quality assurance of CEMS equipment used at stacks and process outlets. AGEM’s aluminum cylinder gases provide convenient on-site calibration options.
- Industrial process control and safety systems: Accurate calibration of gas detection and control instruments in manufacturing, petrochemical, and power generation plants depends on reliable calibration gas mixtures. AGEM supplies formulations that help maintain process stability and worker safety.
- Laboratory verification and method validation: Analytical laboratories use certified calibration gas mixtures as reference materials for method development, instrument validation, and inter-laboratory comparisons.
- Portable analyzer verification and field service: Small-volume aluminum cylinder gases (4L, 8L, 10L) are optimized for field technicians who need lightweight, portable calibration standards for quick checks and service calls.
Innovation and Technical Advantages
AGEM’s approach to specialty calibration gases focuses on process excellence, research-driven formulation, and global service capabilities. Our proprietary blending technologies, combined with rigorous analytical verification, enable the production of stable calibration gas mixtures across a wide concentration range. The use of aluminum cylinder gases enhances portability without compromising gas integrity, making AGEM solutions particularly attractive for field-based calibration workflows.
Technical advantages include:
- Precision blending infrastructure: AGEM employs automated blending systems and mass flow-controlled dilution lines to achieve target concentrations with low uncertainty. These systems allow us to produce NO SO2 CO N2 blends with reproducible accuracy batch after batch.
- Comprehensive quality control: Each batch undergoes sampling and analysis using validated methods. Certificates of analysis accompany our specialty calibration gases, detailing measured concentrations, measurement uncertainty, and shelf-life recommendations.
- Controlled impurity specifications: AGEM maintains strict impurity limits in balance gases (such as nitrogen) to prevent Interferents during calibration. This ensures that aluminum cylinder gases used as balance or zero gases do not introduce bias.
- Flexibility in cylinder sizing: Offering 4L, 8L, 10L, and 50L cylinders enables users to select the most appropriate volume for their application—small volumes for portability and larger volumes for routine in-station calibration—reducing waste and optimizing cost-per-test.
- Global service and support: AGEM’s RD and manufacturing capabilities, centred in Taiwan with distribution across six regions, ensure rapid response, regional regulatory knowledge, and consistent product quality no matter where customers are located.
Quality Assurance and Regulatory Compatibility
AGEM’s calibration gas mixtures are developed in compliance with international best practices for reference gas preparation. Our laboratory controls ensure traceability back to primary standards, and we provide documentation to support regulatory audits and instrument performance records. Whether for NO SO2 CO N2 blends used in CEMS or specialty calibration gases for laboratory use, customers receive product information that supports method validation and legal metrology requirements.
Ordering, Handling, and Storage Recommendations
When ordering AGEM calibration gas mixtures, specify the target concentrations for NO, SO2, CO, and the desired balance gas, along with the required cylinder volume (4L, 8L, 10L, or 50L aluminum cylinder). AGEM can advise on appropriate concentration ranges and recommended shelf-life based on the gas composition and analyzer requirements. For safe handling, store aluminum cylinder gases upright in a cool, ventilated area, secure cylinders to prevent tipping, and use regulators and fittings compatible with the calibration gas mixture to prevent contamination and ensure accurate delivery.
