1. What is the MOQ
A: From one cylinder
2. What is the delivery time
A: 7–10 days EXW (Ex Works) after we receive the deposit. Once we book the air freight, we will be able to provide the exact delivery timeline to the customer's country.
3. How do you check the gas quality
A: First, our team prepares the cylinders (cleaning, drying, vacuuming, pumping, and purging before gas filling to ensure the inside of the cylinder is clean and dry). Second, we test the treated cylinders again to confirm that the interior remains clean and dry. Third, we analyze the gas after filling the cylinders and provide a COA (Certificate of Analysis).
4. Can all cylinders be recycled
A: Generally, the service life of seamless steel cylinders is over 20 years. Disposable cylinders, however, are strictly for single use.
5. Can we send empty cylinders back to China for refilling
A: Yes. Once the gas is used up, you can return the empty cylinders to us for refilling. Please inform us prior to shipment so we can arrange customs clearance for the cylinders in China.
6. Available Cylinder and Valve Standards
A: Cylinder Standards: DOT-3AA, ISO9809, GB5099, TC-3AAM, EN1964, KGS
Valve Standards: DISS, CGA, DIN, BS, AFNOR, JIS
7. Can I ship LCL with my other general cargo
A: Our products are classified as Class 2.2 Dangerous Goods (DG) and must be shipped accordingly. Shipping them as general cargo is illegal, so we must book DG transport with the carrier. If you have general cargo, it can be combined with this shipment, provided the entire load is shipped under DG standards

AGEM presents the 8L Standard Mixture Gas Calibration Gas for Environmental Monitoring Calibration Gas Cylinder, a precision-engineered solution designed to meet the rigorous requirements of modern air quality measurement and sensor validation. Leveraging AIR GAS ELECTRONIC MATERIALS (AGEM)’s Taiwan-based expertise in specialty gas formulation and research-driven quality control, this 8L calibration gas product delivers reliable, reproducible, and traceable gas mixtures for applications ranging from field instrument checks to laboratory-grade sensor characterization.
Product Overview and Applications
The 8L Standard Mixture Gas Calibration Gas Cylinder is optimized for environmental monitoring calibration tasks and is ideally suited for a broad range of instruments including electrochemical sensors, metal-oxide sensors, nondispersive infrared (NDIR) analyzers, photoionization detectors (PID), and gas chromatographs used in ambient air quality networks. The compact 8L calibration gas cylinder format balances portability and usable volume, making it perfect for field technicians conducting spot checks, routine maintenance, or inter-calibration exercises. By offering a standard mixture tailored for environmental monitoring calibration, AGEM supports compliance with regulatory monitoring programs, ensures consistent ambient air data, and minimizes drift-related measurement errors.
Key Features and Specifications
- Certified Standard Mixture: Each 8L calibration gas cylinder contains a certified standard mixture prepared under controlled conditions to ensure traceability to recognized national standards. This standard mixture makes the cylinder an indispensable tool for environmental monitoring calibration protocols.
- Precise Concentration Tolerance: AGEM’s proprietary blending and gravimetric techniques produce calibrations that meet tight concentration tolerances required by modern air quality sensors. The high fidelity of the standard mixture supports accurate span and zero checks and ensures sensor output remains within specified performance envelopes.
- High-Purity Balance Gases: To preserve the stability of the standard mixture, AGEM uses high-purity balance gases combined with specialty gas for sensors formulations. This reduces contamination risks and extends the usable life of each 8L calibration gas cylinder in typical deployment scenarios.
- Portable 8L Cylinder Design: The 8L size offers a practical balance of portability and operational duration, enabling technicians to perform multiple calibrations in the field without the logistical burden of larger cylinders.
- Robust Quality Control: AGEM’s manufacturing process includes stringent quality control and regular inspections, ensuring each 8L calibration gas cylinder meets exacting standards for leak tightness, mixture stability, and label accuracy.
- Safety and Compliance: Cylinders are produced and labeled in compliance with international transport and safety standards. AGEM provides material safety data sheets and proper handling instructions to support safe field operations.
Applications and Use Cases
This 8L Standard Mixture Gas Calibration Gas Cylinder is ideal for environmental monitoring calibration across municipal air quality networks, industrial fence-line monitoring, remote field stations, and research laboratories. Field technicians conducting routine site audits rely on an 8L calibration gas cylinder to perform span calibrations, zero verifications, and periodic checks that confirm instruments are operating correctly. Environmental consultants use this standard mixture to validate portable survey instruments during short-term deployments. Laboratory technicians benefit from the stable concentrations in the standard mixture when performing bench checks on analytical instrumentation. The combination of a specialized formulation and the convenient 8L format makes AGEM’s calibration gas cylinder a versatile choice for any environmental monitoring calibration workflow.
Innovation and Technical Advantages
AGEM’s differentiator lies in its RD-driven approach to calibration gas production and its focus on specialty gas for sensors solutions. Innovations that set the 8L calibration gas cylinder apart include:
