What is Acetylene Gas?
Acetylene gas cylinders are a vital part of welding. Two pieces of metal that need to be joined are heated with a special torch until they culemelt. The fuel used is acetylene gas, as it generates a hot flame that melts the metal. Welding would not be possible without acetylene gas cylinders.
For caution and safety among oxygen acetylene cylinders, observe rules. 1.) Store the cylinders in a cool dry area, free from heat or flames. When you slide the cylinders, make sure that they are secured so that they won't fall down. Wear safety gear, including gloves and goggles, at all times to avoid injury.
