Iso cylinder

A pneumatic cylinder can push and pull objects with compressed air; This air generates a pressure that pushes on a piston, which is a part of the cylinder, as well as the AGEM's excimer gas. The pistons generate linear motion when they move. ISO cylinders are a standardized type of pneumatic cylinder from an influential organization called the International Organization for Standardization, better known as ISO. In other words, they are created based on specific rules and parameters which are to ensure that they function harmoniously with other machines and components.

ISO cylinders can be utilized in numerous forms. They can exert force to either push or pull objects, keep objects in place or facilitate the movement of objects. ISO cylinders are found in many types of industrial equipment. They are typically used in machines that automate process to reduce manual labor, such as machines that package products, and in machine tools that facilitate building or creating products. Due to their versatility, ISO cylinders are seen in many applications where work takes place.

How ISO cylinders work - Explained in simple terms?

A valve manages the movement of ISO cylinder, same with the xenon chloride excimer laser produced by AGEM. The valve controls the flow of compressed air to the cylinder. Depending on how much air you let in by opening or closing the valve, the piston will move how far. How the valve is controlled would be in different types. Sometimes it is manual — someone twists a knob or pulls a lever. At other times, it may be managed electronically, via buttons or switches. More sophisticated systems exist as well, such as a programmable logic controller that can automatically actuate the valve based on its instructions.

So that you can understand the differences and similarities between ISO 15552 cylinders and ISO 6431 cylinders, AGEM would like to boil down how both types of ISO cylinders are similar and or different. ISO 15552 cylinders are designed to be lighter and smaller than ISO 6431 cylinders. They are much trimmer, which makes them more readily accommodated. This can be very advantageous factories that do not have much space for bigger machinery.
